Why isn't my step count updating?

Make sure Simple Steps has permission to access Motion & Fitness data. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Motion & Fitness and ensure Simple Steps is enabled.

Where is my data stored?

All your data is stored locally on your device. We don't have any servers or cloud storage — your steps never leave your phone.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Simple Steps works entirely on-device with no sign-up required.
